Circuit training is a great way to burn lots of fat and develop a lean body. This is how to get abs. If you want a lean body and develop six pack abs then you should focus on your diet and exercise routine.

I started doing circuit training thinking that it was just a fad that was not very effective just like those ab machines you see advertised late at night on TV. But I was very pleased with the results it gave me.

Basically the way it works is you first warm up for about 5 minutes with a brisk walk or whatever. Then you decide what exercises you want to perform.

You can basically do any exercises you want whether they are body weight exercises or exercises with a barbell. Pick 6 to 10 of these exercises and perform a good amount of each exercise back to back. Fo for example let’s say you are doing push ups and body weight squats.

You could do 20 push ups immediately followed by 30 body weight squats. Then continue with the other exercises. You are not working hard enough with circuit training until you are almost out of breath and dripping sweat. That is when you know you are torching the belly fat away.

It is very effective is a great alternative for cardio. In fact I started going from weight training and cardio to just doing circuit training with body weight exercises.

I have not lost any muscle but I have developed a very lean body which is what my goal is. If your goal is to bulk up and build a lot of muscle then circuit training is not for you. It is for those who want to cut up and develop a lean body to look good. You just learned how to get abs.
