I tried to do a pull up workout the other day and it was so tough. I have so much respect for people who can do that, because you have to have exercised a lot to get to that level. That is what exercise is all about isn’t it? It is about sticking to a routine and being committed and pushing on when you are tired and achieving your goals. The reward you get when you do reach a goal weight or a goal level of fitness is a great feeling and nothing and no one can take that away from you. You will also notice that the more you exercise, the easier it is to increase the intensity or the duration of the workout. It is not always like it is in the beginning where any bit of increase in duration or intensity feels ten times as bad as what it actually is.

There are also thigh exercises that work on the back of your thigh and the Plie is one of them. The first thing to do is to start with your feet slightly wider than your shoulder width. The next thing to do is to squat while your arms are in front of you. This should be repeated several times as long as the knee does not move past your toes. This type of thigh exercise is normally hard to do as a normal person would have difficulty after doing it 5 times. It is not a bad option to drink a glass of water then to do it again though as these exercises can be quite stressful. It is also advisable that this exercise be done for a whole minute with a pause at the bottom of the squat after 40 seconds. The Plie may be a strange word but it is very effective especially for those who want to work on their thighs.

The squat stand is very similar to two sawhorses, which are four feet apart and are connected at the base by a heavy cross-bar.
